Mind Tools is seeking a skilled IT Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and dedicated to supporting our digital environment. If you are experienced with Apple devices, Microsoft 365, and have exceptional skills in Excel and Word macros, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

As an IT Specialist at Mind Tools, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our IT infrastructure. You will provide technical support to staff, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to improve productivity. Your expertise with Apple and Linux platforms and Microsoft applications will ensure our systems run smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications we are looking for in an IT Specialist:

Proven experience as an IT Specialist or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Apple ecosystem, including iPad and iPhone support.
Expertise in Microsoft 365 applications and Microsoft Exchange.
Advanced skills in creating and managing Excel and Word macros.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Certifications in Apple support, Microsoft 365, Linux or related fields are a plus.

Your Responsibilities as an IT Specialist at Mind Tools

Support and manage Apple devices including iPads and iPhones.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on Apple devices and provide user support.
Manage and support Microsoft 365 suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
Oversee Microsoft Exchange email server to ensure seamless communication.
Develop, test, and implement macros in Excel and Word to automate tasks and enhance workflows.
Provide technical assistance to staff, including setup, configuration, and training on Apple and Microsoft devices and applications.
Maintain security protocols, update software, and manage backup systems of our Linux Hosts.
Collaborate with team members to identify tech needs and recommend optimal solutions.
Able to provide support to our Trainers in the field.
Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in IT.
